Referee Basil Giwa is dead.
The young referee gave up the ghost on yesterday, Tuesday 22nd December, 2016, during a fitness test planned for South West referees in Ibadan.
Details of the deceased has not been released but from the photos circulating online,
Sources say it might have been an
heart attack, but this is yet to be confirmed by medical officcers as an
autopsy is yet to be carried out.
