Governor Isiaq Abiola Ajimobi ( APC ) of Oyo State has been declared the winner of Saturday's gubernatorial poll having scored a total vote of 327,310 to defeat Senator Rashidi Adewolu Ladoja of the Accord Party who polled 254,520 votes.
Labour Party Candidate, Otunba Christopher Adebayo Alao-Akala emerged third with184,111 votes, while the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) candidate, Senator Teslim Folarin gathered 79,019 votes and Engr. Seyi Makinde of Social Democratic Party (SDP) gathered 54,740 votes which made them the 4th and 5th respectively.
APC also has the majority of seats in the State House of Assembly, claiming about 18 seats.
