Organizers of the MOREKLUE ALL YOUTHS’ AWARDS (#MAYAAwards) ealier released the list of nominees for the 2015 edition of the awards scheduled to hold on Sunday, 8th February 2015 at Mauve 21 Event Centre, Ibadan.
Popular artistes Patoranking, Lil Kesh and Seyi Shay are also nominated (Song of the year category) for the prestigious awards that attracted over 1,000 nominations.
Project director, Ademola Ajibola, said.....
“In line with our desire to
crown new kings and queens who have in the past 10 months been amazing
and incredibly excellent in their chosen fields, do we release this
tentative list of nominees.
“We are breaking the norm this time as we won’t be celebrating the
expected but the deserving. We had over 1,000 nominations and the awards
jury carefully looked into the works of the ‘new hawks’ who are fasting
taking the society by storm by being agents of change and selected the
eventual 150 nominees.
“We look up to support for this cause and we’d appreciate every
efforts taken by our nominees to reach out to us as we don’t have
everyone’s contact. We hope to have the world gather to see the new
kings and queens when crowned in February, 2015″.
