Tara Reid puts worryingly thin frame back on display as she posts bikini-clad Thanksgiving snap from parents' Palm Springs home

Worrying: Tara Reid's increasingly gaunt figure is on display in a new shot added to her Instagram account from her parents home in Palm Springs, where she is currently spending Thanksgiving

Tara Reid’s increasingly gaunt frame has prompted further concerns about her health in a new shot added to her social media accounts.

The American actress, currently enjoying a Thanksgiving vacation in Palm Springs, models a mismatched turquoise print bikini while standing in front of what appears to be a large window overlooking a canyon road.
But the picturesque sweeping backdrop is overshadowed by Tara’s worryingly slender appearance in the latest bikini shot to emerge on her Instagram and Twitter pages.

Captioning the shot, Tara wrote: ‘Visiting my parents house in Palm Springs for thanksgiving before the turkey.’

A second shot reveals her lean shadow in the outdoor pool, while a third finds her sandwiched between loving parents Donna and Tom for a fun family snap.
On Tuesday Tara was upbeat while showing off her very thin frame on the beach in Hawaii.
'Life is good,' the 39-year-old Sharknado 2 star captioned her snap.

Tara also posted a pair of photos of herself on an unidentified beach in the Pacific holiday hotspot.
With her blonde hair blowing loose in the wind, Reid appeared to be the picture of happiness as she stood at the waterline.
The American Pie star wore only a pink and black, flowered string bikini, along with a heart-shaped pendant, in the photos posted to Twitter.

For captions, Tara went with the uplifting 'Life is good!' and 'So happy!'
The beach pictures were not Tara's only Hawaiian vacation shots - she also Instagrammed a short video of herself at the airport, rolling around on a luggage cart.
While Tara was the only one who appeared in the photos, she was obviously not alone and most likely in the company of her boyfriend, Israeli DJ Erez Eisen.

There has been plenty of travel for Tara recently, since the actress was in Australia the week before to promote her upcoming horror movie, Charlie's Farm.
Life with sand and sun seems to have agreed with Tara - she looked a lot better than she did on Halloween. ** http://www.dailymail.co.uk/tvshowbiz/article-2816989/Tara-Reid-38-looks-worse-wear-takes-embarrassing-FALL-outside-Los-Angeles-party.html
Tara was spotted on that night leaving a Los Angeles club, tripping and stumbling and generally looking like she might have partied a little too much.

In the late 1990s, Tara was catapulted into the spotlight due to roles in The Big Lebowski in 1998 and American Pie in 1999.
The downturn started soon after, however, with Tara starring in a string of critical and commercial flops like Alone In The Dark, Van Wilder, and My Boss's Daughter.
It was the strangest of movies - a made-for-TV horror flick named Sharknado - that brought Tara back into the limelight.

She starred as April Wexler in a movie about vicious, flying sharks destroying Los Angeles.
Multiple repeats on television plus a nationwide series of theatrical screenings made Sharknado one of the biggest monster/disaster movie in years.
Tara reprised her role in 2014's Sharknado 2 (the sharks destroyed New York City this time) and has confirmed that Sharknado 3 is in her future as well.
